Possible Final Post

It has been quite a long time since I last updated this blog and since I moved on from this hobby to other much less productive activities, such as gambling and playing the stock market I decided to call it a day and officially call this blog off as well as I did with a couple others too. Certainly that does not mean that I will never ever get back nor that I will be deleting all the time and effort I have put into making this blog from 2011 onwards into what it is today, but I will just let you know that I will not be dedicating anymore time to this.

Certainly I am not playing WoW anymore and the sales for the guides that I have recommended during these years have also hit an all time low and as such I see no purpose in bothering with coming up with other posts. Also the self-hosted blog (strategy-game-guides.com) will be done for this year as well and since most of the previous posts only linked to the much bigger articles posted in there this purpose will be obsolote as well. So thank you for dropping by and as always enjoy your game for as long as it lasts, because nothing lasts forever ...

WoW Patch 6.1 Guides

So the game moved up and became a lot cooler with this update to Warlords and as luck would have it all the new features turned out to be quite cool (even if they are a bit more time consuming than anyone would have them be, but still). In case you did not manage to finish up everything and tie up whatever loose ends you still have to deal with out there I suggest that you hurry up a little because the updates for the next patch 6.1 are well under way and the new content will be here in no time (maybe a month or two, but no more).

Anyways, the guides and addons will have to updated by then and in case you still need some incentives to get on board, allow me to tell you that my most recent stastics show a big difference between the chaps using the premium guides (Zygor or Dynasty) and those other poor chaps that simply struggle and cannot do it, for some reason. And I recon that once there will be some more serious news to deal with, I shall see to it that there will be an article about it, right? Till then, take good care!

Zygor Guides 6.0.3 Level 100 in 1 Day!

Yes you got that right, the fellas from Zygor brag around and about their new guides that are supposed to blast you from 90 to 100 in just 1 day (of played time that is) as opposed to 3 to 5 if you follow the normal questline and all the other extra stuff! So basically all you need to do is drop by their official website and check out how things are with those guides of theirs. Also don't let yourself fooled into buying so easly and go for a review or two (here's mine if you're interested - Zygor Review) and basically I guess that covers most of the things that had to be covered and without a doubt things might just get interesting at this point.

So that's quite about it for now, make sure to check these guys out and afterwards be sure to check back for any new updates on the new and improved website of the chaps from Zygor. The Mists are lifting and the Warlords are coming!

That's quite a catchy title right? Well anyways I thought I might share with you a few of my thoughts on the upcoming expansion of Warlords of Draenor in the context of having almost ended everything that Mists of Pandaria had to offer. I usually tend to talk a lot about a boatload of unrelated stuff however this time I managed to keep it simple and stick with the facts, thus by using one of Blizzard's official patch notes released for version 6.0.2 I did share a few of my thoughts and impressions on the changes that will occur with the launch of the chapter in the saga of Wacraft.

And sure thing since almost all of my blogs also contain the word strategy guide in them, I also shared the more proeminent guide providers who have already announced that they will have a guide for when Warlords goes live on the 13th of November! Certainly the most badass guide of them all is provided by Zygor who also created a nice pre-order button for the leveling guide till 100 and gives away as a bonus the complete garrison guide, but off course let us not forget the other chaps as well for their services are also quite interesting to check out. But for all these and more do drop by the main blog and look for the post!

WoW Warlords of Draenor Characters

Without a doubt the many changes that Blizz intends to make on their best-selling franchise in order to give it yet another chance and try to hide its age (cause no offense, but WoW came out in 2003 and the base characters have all remained the same ever since). Certainly as with any decent changes, there will be a lot of fellas commenting that things will basically suck and that "WoW was much cooler back in '03 than it is today" and for all those, please seek out a private server and play for free on version 1.0 if you are not pleased with where the game is going, but for all those happy with the changes that the company is making, I guess we'll meet in-game and be content with the choices you've made cause they are the best.

Certainly I have tried quite a lot to express my thoughts on what will this new expansion be like and how will things change with it, in a good sense, in a not so good sense and all that, but eventually it all comes down to a nice personal thought and if you wish to know more of mine here's a link to a more complete article on all the changes brought about by this brave new expansion from my perspective (plus a little extra) -> WoW New Warlords of Draenor Models. Tycoon Guide Update (5.4.8)

The latest is terms of news for Wow include a couple updated tips and tricks on the brand new interface of Tycoon Gold Guide from Dynasty Addons that just got the update for patch 5.4.8 a couple weeks ago. From the new updates to the guide I will only mention the brand new farming spots and routes alongside the good old AH tips and tricks. 

Now I know that things are going to get really interesting after Warlords will be launched this fall, because I am quite certain that the quests should provide quite a hefty amount of gold coins even at the lowest level, however the demand for gold will only become bigger and the economy should be even more out of balance. And that's where these guides come will come to the rescue, but better still I guess making a boatload of coins now to have enough when the expansion comes out. Anyways, you decide what to do and how to play, I am here just to point out the many possibilities that exist out there. 

Zygor or Dynasty?

Ever since World of Warcraft was out and started gaining in popularity there were plenty of chaps who tried to help out others and earn an earnest buck in the process. Zygor is clearly among the older dudes that has been providing help for average players of WoW since 2007 if I recall correctly, so you would think that experience is quite a factor in dealing with this, but still if we look at the other guide provider of whom I've designed this VS article about we'll see that things aren't quite as complicated as some would like to have'em and that age isn't necessarily a good thing (neither is it bad, but still). So ... Dynasty or Zygor, the question remains open, and probably will stay so until one of them will fail (which might never happen to tell you the truth, cause they're both quite good.)

Dynasty Addons for Mists of Pandaria

I know well enough that Cataclysm is quite dead and gone, but you should well enough keep in mind the fact that you've played through it with a lot success by use of some of the most badass guides and addons that were recommended to you in here ... And you survived! Now those guides and addons received a new look, a new name and a serious update and became: Dynasty Addons! Now you might or might not remember the good old manaview (the fellas who published Tycoon Addon, you know the gold making tool?). Anyways they relaunched all four products (Tycoon, Booster, Edge and Impulse) under a new name and banner called Dynasty.

Now although at first you might not notice all the big changes you might want to consider the fact that they are the best thing money can buy in terms of WoW In-Game Addons and also they work very well with the latest version at all possible times. For a couple more words, drop by: Manaview's Update to Dynasty and enjoy a little extra info while you have your pizza. Wow 5.4.7 mini-patch changes

We're still going strong with the good old fashioned Mists of Pandaria and by the looks of it patch 5.4 wasn't the end of it, because there wasn't no exclusive mount just yet, then 5.4.2 came and still no mount ... And finally 5.4.7 is underway as well and guess what? We have mount!!! And a pet too and some changes concerning the good old end to arena season 15. But that's not all that important, because how many of you bastards are actually going to get those super elite pvp items anyway?

So my point is the exclusive next expansion mount is heralding the end to yet another stage in the development of the whole game and thus the end of a story and the beginning of a new one. Now for a couple more pieces of info on the update do check this out: Yet another Wow mini-patch 5.4.7 and also do not forget that when the patch comes out, all the guides will be yet again rendered useless by the update and thus will require a nice extra time spent  on dealing with the compatibility issues, but that's nothing that can't be fixed in a couple of minutes if you have any of the guides/addons I recommended. New Expansion, New Patch and New Games

Basically everything at Blizzard is renewed this year, from the new bugless patch 5.4.2 that posed some problems to most premium addons and guides for a few days up until the news coming from the beta testing of the newest and baddest expansion yet, Warlords of Draenor, telling the story of Draenor before it became the Outland we knew and loved back in the Burning Crusade.

And off course Blizzard has alos been experimenting with new games as well, having in mind to pose some competition to those fools over by LoL or DOTA by bringing out their own arena game with all the mighty characters from ALL the famous Blizz games! Also new is the mighty card game known as Hearhtstone that allows players too bored of so many battlegrounds to enjoy a little well deserved R&R and think a little while playing! Patch 5.4 Live plus Guides

Alrighty then boys and girls, y'all know that the patch with number 5.4 is out for about a week now and alongside the many new changes and features this update brought about there are some (such as the final raid and expansion boss: Garrosh) that are quite a serious pain in the ass. So to put in plainly one needs a serious in-game guide if he hopes to be able cap some serious ass there. Now lucky for us gamers, Zygor and Manaview have the solution for almost all of our Warcraft related headaches.

Gold Farming AddOn 5.4

So if we keep this really quick and fast and to the point I need only tell that once Blizzard launches patch 5.4 there will be some more gold making opportunities and maybe someone might need to be told that in order to ease things a little bit there are AddOns such as Tycoon In-Game Gold Guide that make things a whole lot easier for any types of players using them.

And there was never a best time to get the upper hand on your fellow players than now, when the game updates and new content gets added on a regular basis. And new content always means more gold to be made, so stay up to date fellas!

Patch 5.4 The Fall of Hellscream

Time has finally come for Garrosh to meet his end at the hands of both Horde and Alliance and so it is that in Patch 5.4 Blizz decided to finally open the raid on Orgrimmar (alongside some other new features that they will implement). But as players we don't really care about those, if we care of something that is getting to be the first to cap his brown orcish butt and to do that we might need some help (kindly provided by the boys over by Zygor, Tycoon or Dugi). So if you think you're in need for some guidance just drop by Wow 5.4 Guide Updates and check out the few updates that are posted there, perhaps you will find it more or less useful. But either way you may do that you need to know that things are actually worth it and that those darn guides actually work be they leveling or gold addons.

So then today we are talking about Multiboxing in World of Warcraft. It's as simple as that ... One chap has a shitload of money and spends them on Computers, Blizzard accounts and off course Multiboxing software (cause it costs money ... cause nothin' ain't for free nowadays!) and so they get to level more characters at once (solo ... so to speak) and get the upper hand in more situations as such.

World of Warcraft Updated to 5.3

Alrighty so the big game got updated to version 5.3 a few days ago and so to say, the guides (which have our full attention and interest) have also been updated! Now I have mainly talked about Zygor and Tycoon from manaview, cause these I hold to be a winning combination, but the other top guides (Dugi and warcraft conquest or others you might know about that are actually active will also update soon enough)!

Booster Leveling going from 1-85 to 1-90

So guys the fellas of manaview finally decided to update their guide for Mists of Pandaria as well and now offer a full walkthrough for all stages of the leveling process, rocketing them beginner players form 1 to 90 in record time (not quite as fast as Dugi, nor as good as Zygor, but still the price is also much more decent as well). So don't let me stretch any longer and allow me to skip straight to the idea.

World of Warcraft Patch 5.2

And now since the lore of Cataclysm was nicely discussed let us skip straight to the end with the latest story of them all, that of the thunder king! Patch 5.2 for World of Warcraft was released quite some time ago, but the very heart and essence of the update has only been unraveled a few days ago. WoW Tycoon Gold Addon Review

Now for the guides ... If we still spent so much time without some serious guide updates on this website, I recon Tycoon Gold Guide is a perfect way to kick this off. Now I won't be babbering to much about it, because I have plenty of stuff to tend to, so I will try my best to as brief as possible.

So this addon, as the name goes functions within the game and gives you a huge variety of gold making tips, straight to your character. Stuff like farming roads, approximate prices, drop rates and all sort of other useful stuff. Also it is constantly updated with new tips and tricks, submitted by all the users (something like 80 k by now if memory serves well. And it works as I have said on all versions, both Cataclysm and Mists of Pandaria and any other WoW version you can think of.

And for the grand finale let us all witness once more the fall of the great Deathwing, the aspect of death itself! Once Go el gathered enough strength to challenge the mighty dragon, the other aspects gathered also, alongside the brave heroes who took up the impossible task of taking down the bringer of death!


Patch 4.3 Trailer - The Hour of Twilight (no movie pun intended)

As the battle is fought the end is near, but who will be the first to fall? Deathwing or the heroes? And finally once the dust clears and the elements are all back in their place, a welcoming sight greets us ... Alongside a gathering of familiar immortal faces, or are they?
